Coastal Health is currently searching for a motivated, career-oriented Back and Front Office Clinical Medical Assistant trainer. Serves multiple locations in the assistance of training for all back and front office duties.

Provide assistance and training to staff on information systems including (but not limited to) Windows operating systems, Citrix virtual applications, Microsoft Office applications, Athena EHR.
Provide one-on-one training to MA staff such as vitals, confirming purpose of visit or treatment. Preparing laboratory specimens, performing basic laboratory tests, drug screens.
Identify inefficiencies in clinic workflow and develop resolutions utilizing EHR and PM applications
Train in multiple locations, however, address one location at a time until back-office staff become proficient in the utilization of the systems and process.
Create instructions and training materials to be distributed to back office staff
Assist patients in the conversion of their paper records to electronic
Evaluate efficacy of training curriculum and compliance to standard protocols
High School Diploma, Minimum 3 years experience in a clinic Medical Assistant Role, Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing, Professionalism, Quality Focus, Team driven attitude, and Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience Working With EMR/EHR Preferred.Experience working in primary care, and Specialty care.
