We are looking for a seasoned Restaurant Server with at least 3-5 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant setting, including 1-2 years of experience in banquet service. Bartending experience is a plus, and leadership experience is preferred.

As a server in our restaurant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. You will be expected to work well under pressure, multitask, and communicate effectively with guests, kitchen staff, and other servers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and take orders in a professional and friendly manner.
• Maintain a broad familiarity with the cuisine, the cocktails, and the wine that is offered at the restaurant.
• Provide recommendations to guests on menu items, wine, and cocktails. Do not simply “take orders”.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and ensure that all special requests are communicated to the kitchen.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables and ensure that all items are presented in an attractive and appetizing manner, including a brief description to the customer.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining room, including resetting tables with polished flatware and glassware.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service.
• Attend to all aspects of the dining experience, including taking payments and processing checks.
• Provide fine dining banquet service as needed, including setting up tables, collecting accurate orders from guests, professionally serving food and beverages, and clearing tables.
• Assist with bartending duties, including preparing and serving drinks, if necessary.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, if applicable.

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years experience in a fine dining restaurant setting.
• 1-2 years of experience in banquet service.
• Bartending experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food and wine is a plus.
