Coastal Security Services is Hiring a Part-Time Bookkeeper Near Bluffton, SC
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
- Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as needed.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet.
- Assist with budget preparation and budget forecasts.
- Participate in quarterly and annual audits.
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information and year-end close processes.
- Manage employee expense reports, including verification, summary, and processing for payment.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and safeguarding of confidential and sensitive information.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
- Stay current with job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
- Be able to work 15 hours per week.
