Coastal Waste & Recycling is privately-owned waste disposal and recycling company. We are experiencing explosive growth and with growth comes opportunity.
We are currently adding a Corporate Controller to the team. This position will be responsible for all corporate accounting functions, to include

• Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures
• Implement consistent corporate accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows
• Oversee and support corporate accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity
• Ensure compliance with financial and accounting regulations
• Prepare and manage corporate budgets
• Manage corporate financial reports and documents, such as balance sheets and income statements
• Handle preparation for tax returns
• Perform financial risk assessments and conduct internal audits
• Reconcile banking and investment accounts
• Analyze and document corporate financial information
• Manage third party relationship with tax and audit firms

The ideal candidate for this position will have a CPA and 10 years of professional accounting experience with a minimum of 2 years in public accounting.
