Coca Cola Careers is Hiring a Manager, Creative Writing Near Atlanta, GA

We are seeking an experienced Creative Writer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content and Creative Strategy, this person will write captivating content for corporate social media channels and execute global communication plans and campaigns through a variety of digital media, including traditional and emerging platforms.

Coca-Cola Creative Studios (CCCS) is an ambitious in-house agency within Platform Services and based out of the global headquarters of The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, GA. We are responsible for providing strategic creative, digital, and video content and services to the global Marketing and PACS (Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability) Services group to fuel the growth and purpose of The Coca-Cola Company. We welcome bold, creative, agile team members to join us as a driving force behind the company’s global messages and key campaigns. 

The Creative Writer will help us daily raise the bar on creativity, integrate well with partner teams for digital content strategy and analytics, and provide fresh copy that inspires our audiences and drives action. Successful candidates are comfortable communicating in a wide variety of tones — and to audiences that include our colleagues within the company as well as digitally to our communities around the world.

This position requires a strong command of digital marketing principles and excellent communications skills with a demonstrated ability to drive engagement through digital channels and develop thoughtful content strategies. Please include 3-5 writing samples with your application.

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Write! (Shocking, we know…) You’re a senior digital marketing writer who will develop strong, concise social media copy and other content for digital channels
  • Support growth strategies for social media following and engagement across multiple platforms through storytelling aligned to our corporate reputation drivers
  • Embody the tone and voice of a brand, while still bringing your own unique flair to the table
  • Understand the importance of integrated thinking across channels, topics and audiences, while staying true to corporate purpose
  • Build effective and accessible toolkit content for global adaptation of creative assets
  • Interpret creative briefs and develop creative concepts and ideas for marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Apply audience persona, channel strategy understanding and other data and insights for optimizing content
  • Be a stickler for grammar, a great self-editor and open to edits from your partners and team
  • Collaborate and play well with others, and work with confidence, passion and initiative

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Experience writing digital advertising campaign content
  • Experience writing for engagement on corporate digital channels, including social media posts, digital marketing asset content and website creative content
  • Knowledge of paid and earned media production, dissemination techniques and methods, and SEO principles
  • Experience creating and editing communication plans, campaign copy, video and presentation scripts and other marketing communications with strong attention to detail and unique turn-of-phrase
  • Ability to quickly learn — and nail — brand and channel voice in everything you write
  • Experience writing in AP Style
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment; proactive and solutions-oriented with the ability to anticipate needs and adapt to changing and competing demands…and get it done!
  • Experience working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Genuine love of the industry and passion for staying up on communication trends 

Related Work Experience: 

  • 5 years of related marketing copywriting experience, agency preferred

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Writing, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or other related field)
