As our Maintenance Manager you will be responsible to lead the department, develop and/or maintain an effective Equipment Maintenance program (including repairs, modifications and installation) in order to improve production efficiency, productivity and ensure optimum machine time usability/operability.

Position Related Duties and Key Job Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first culture supporting safety teams, ensuring risk assessments occur, and enforcing all Safety Rules throughout the facility.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulatory requirements involving food safety and GMPs.
• Review and provide guidance to Project Engineer for all site capital projects for long term maintenance needs. This will include such things as equipment, parts usage, (both manufacturer/model and application), maintenance access, training assessment needs, installation correlation to design (or the subsequent documentation with as built drawings and commissioning), spare parts recommendation, preventative maintenance requirements (along with the need for any special tooling and labor requirements).
• Leads and builds the site technical team’s capabilities. Manages employee performance, development, adherence to policies and procedures, and selection. Works with individuals on career planning, training, skills development, and ongoing one-on-one communication.
• Manages maintenance support and collaborates with operations to fully achieve site strategies, goals and objectives.
• Resolve unplanned downtime activities and ensure planned preventative/predictive maintenance and overhaul activities are completed to minimize unscheduled downtime and ensure high utilization of department resources, including all Tool Crib activities.
• Provides on-going training and development opportunities to maintenance personnel and production operators that promote reliability excellence concepts.
• Develops measurable standards and goals that reflect efficient maintenance performance.
• Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities. 
• Builds and maintain a succession plan for key positions
• Participates on continuous improvement teams, Analyzes and reports on key performance indicators, root cause analysis. Develops and executes action items, removes barriers, and addresses issues.
• Conducts a regular review of the performance metrics with direct reports and maintenance team.
• Analyzes cost data to ensure accurate budget administration and to understand the causes of any variances. 
• Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance to engineering and operational standards.
• Assists in resolving customer complaints; implements corrective actions.
• Stays abreast on cutting edge technology through external education programs, benchmarking of similar facilities and professional seminars.

Education and Additional Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering Preferred
• Minimum 7 years manufacturing maintenance experience

Functional/Technical Capabilities

• CPG food or beverage manufacturing experience.
• Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering experience.
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing continuous improvement initiatives.
• MS Office Suite experience.
