This is a full-time, permanent position with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and the possibility of overtime work on the weekends as needed. Saturdays are needed in a rotated schedule.

Job Description:

One of the largest group of gastroenterology physicians in New Jersey is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology, with a focus on providing comprehensive care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the gastroenterology physicians.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Coordinate and participate in patient education and counseling.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care across the medical office and hospital settings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Jersey.
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• GI experience highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule between the medical office and hospital.
• Willingness to work overtime on weekends as needed.
