About Code Ninjas:
Code Ninjas teaches children, ages 5-14, how to code through game design. In addition to our membership-based monthly program, we run summer camps, birthday parties, clubs, and school events that teach a wide range of topics such as Minecraft Modding, Roblox world building, AI, pixel animation, 3D design printing, and coding languages.
Our unique mission leads to a positive, happy environment that is centered on helping kids have fun at our center. We strive to make work fun and to see each day as a chance for great teamwork and developing children rather than about putting in hours. About this job:
The front desk receptionist is responsible for supporting the primary goals of the center, establishing a positive culture, and developing parent and student relationships. A typical day would include activities such as:
· Building positive, communicative relationships with students and parents
· Monitoring employees, providing support and guidance
· Creating a positive center culture
· Following up with leads 
· Talking with visitors
· Giving tours
· Maintaining and growing enrollment to meet center targets
· Managing payments and collecting fees
· Maintaining a clean, beautiful facility
Over the course of a month, additional duties may include:
· Staff meetings
· Hosting events (Parent’s Night Out, game nights, birthday parties, camps, school events, employee appreciation, etc.)
· Onboarding new students
· Producing newsletters and other parent communications
· Making sales calls
· Managing day camps and summer camps

The most important characteristic of the front desk receptionist is the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students, parents, employees, and leads. This means the ideal candidate will be outgoing, friendly, caring, motivated, and possess strong communication skills.
A successful assistant will demonstrate strong retention of students and employees as well providing operational support to the center. In addition, an effective assistant will build a positive learning environment that runs efficiently and guides students, parents, and employees to enjoy their time in the center.

What qualifications are we looking for?

It doesn’t have to be in the same industry; leadership and relational skills can be developed and put to use in almost any industry. We do, however, want to know what experience you have that demonstrates you have the abilities and expertise we desire.
What are the time expectations for this position?
12-15 hours per week, hours are after school on certain weekdays and Saturday 11am - 1pm
