Job Title: Generator Rotor Winder(3rd Shift)
Pay Rate: $20 to $24/HR
Duration: 12 months
Location: Charlotte, NC

Shift 3: 12 am - 8 am - Note: Must be able to train 6 months on 1st shift (8 am - 4 pm) and then move to 3rd shift (12 am - 8 am).

Job Description:

• This position will involve training to be a generator rotor winder.
• This will require the ability to work to written instructions, be familiar with the use of a computer, have a safety-focused mindset with attention to detail, work in teams, approachable attitude, be able to accept constructive feedback, and have clear communication skills.
• The winding process is an assembly process where we are installing copper coils and blocking (support pieces) in a generator rotor.
• There is also the possibility of becoming certified in induction brazing processes.
• The duties will also include disassembling the same type of hardware.
• Additional duties include installing other related components as well as cleaning parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and clothes.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
• Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified. Position, align, and adjust work pieces and electrical parts to facilitate assembly.
• Communicate with supervisors or engineers to plan and review work activities, and to resolve production problems.
• Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers once you become experienced.
• Six months to 18 months of industrial experience is required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overnight shift
