The Opportunity

We're seeking a seasoned Network Implementation Specialist to join our team for a crucial contract role. This position will focus on a complex, multi-site, multi-state network implementation project requiring extensive travel and in-person work. You'll play a vital role in ensuring a secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructure for our Eye Care clients across the country.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the on-site implementation of a new, multi-site network infrastructure for our Eye Care client base.
• Configure and optimize network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) to ensure secure and efficient data flow across all locations.
• Implement and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists.
• Collaborate with the CodexIT team to integrate network infrastructure with existing hardware, software, and diagnostic equipment used by Eye Care practices.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure optimal network performance.
• Travel to client locations across multiple states for hands-on network implementation and support.

Your Skills

• Proven experience (5 years) designing, deploying, and managing complex network infrastructures.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching, etc.) and network security best practices.
• Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) from leading vendors.
• Experience with network management tools and network monitoring software.
• Familiarity with cloud-based network solutions and technologies is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively is mandatory.
