POSITION SUMMARY:

CODICE seeks a skilled Master Data Management Architect to design, develop, and oversee our enterprise-wide MDM strategy and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, MDM concepts, and data governance, with the ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall MDM strategy and roadmap for the organization
• Identifying MDM process and user adoption issues and resolution
• Lead the design and implementation of MDM solutions to meet business requirements and ensure data quality.
• Design and implement MDM architecture that aligns with business objectives and technical capabilities
• Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of MDM tools and technologies
• Establish data governance frameworks and best practices for master data across the enterprise
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into MDM solutions
• Develop data models, metadata repositories, and data quality rules for master data domains
• Oversee the integration of MDM solutions with existing enterprise systems and data warehouses
• Lead data stewardship efforts and promote data quality initiatives across the organization
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the MDM team
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in MDM and data governance
• Develop and maintain documentation for MDM processes, architectures, and standards
• Conduct regular assessments of MDM maturity and recommend improvements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience with cloud-based MDM solutions
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience with big data technologies and analytics platforms
• Understanding of AI and machine learning applications in MDM

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Education:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Required Experience:

• 8 years of professional experience in data governance, data management, data architecture, information technology, data analysis, data quality, master data management, with at least 4 years focused on MDM architecture
• Strong understanding of MDM concepts, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience with leading MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM)
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and data quality processes
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects

Preferred Licensure/ Certification:

• Certifications (e.g., CDMP, TOGAF, DAMA)
