Position Summary:
Reporting directly to and coordinating closely with the Director of Behavioral Health, the Lead BH Clinician for Special Programs is a core member of the BH Department with clinical and programmatic responsibilities.
The Lead BH Clinician for Special Programs- provides clinical care to patients and families of all ages within a primary care setting, offers clinical supervision to BH clinicians, interns, and allied staff, and collaborates across health center departments and sites to develop, implement, and monitor specialized integrated BH services.
The Lead BH Clinician for Special Programs works to improve the behavioral health of Codman’s patient population by caring for individual patients, developing BH staff, and maintaining BH programs for patient populations with specialized needs. This Lead Clinician supports the health center in achieving population-based quality of care measures and understands that every health center patient is a potential BH Department patient.
