Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with at least 8 years of experience in software development and database management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related field and possess extensive experience in Python programming, database design, and management. Experience with AWS Glue is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python code for various applications.
• Design, implement, and optimize database solutions, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Write efficient, reusable, and testable code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and database-related issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to collaborative team environment.
• Implement and manage ETL processes using AWS Glue.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with financial analysts, cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Python.
• Strong experience with a relation and non-relational databases, (Snowflake, MS SQL Server)
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
• Experience with AWS Glue and other AWS Services such as S3, Lambda
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
