Position SummaryThe Corporate Accountant will maintain financial records, prepare financial statements, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide financial analysis to support the company's decision-making process. This position will report to the Assistant Corporate Controller and will work in the Scottsdale, AZ corporate office.
Accounting ResponsibilitiesJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
- Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on business performance.
- Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling and analysis.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- Minimum 2-4 years of accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Team environment
- In-person, Monday to Friday.
- Corporate Office in Scottsdale, AZ.
- No travel is required.
