Cognizant Technology Solutions is Hiring an Employee Relations (ER) Lead Near College Station, TX

Purpose:

To provide proactive human resource support to specific business practices in line with the HR strategy and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive ER policies to promote a positive work environment and address potential conflicts.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee complaints and grievances, ensuring they are handled fairly and efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of misconduct, harassment, or other policy violations.
  • Provide expert advice to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and performance management.
  • Ensure all employee relations activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse ER data, identify trends and make recommendations on improvements to processes and practices.
  • Design, develop and implement ER strategies, policies, and trainings in line with organisational requirements.
  • Prepare submissions for third party meetings and hearings, including WRC Adjudications and Labour Court hearings.

Required

  • Degree in HR or related discipline.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role providing expert advice to managers and employees preferably in a business process consultancy environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law.
  • Experience preparing WRC submissions.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
