Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead the integration of bioinformatics principles into product development strategies to meet market demands and enhance user experience.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product enhancement opportunities based on the latest OMICS data analysis trends.

- Provide expert advice on bioinformatics tools and methodologies to improve product functionality and performance.

- Conduct comprehensive market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor strategies in bioinformatics.

- Design and implement training sessions for the sales and marketing teams on the technical aspects of the products related to bioinformatics.

- Facilitate the translation of complex bioinformatics concepts into user-friendly product features that address customer needs.

- Engage with key stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into product development for continuous improvement.

- Monitor and report on the performance of bioinformatics-related product features recommending adjustments as necessary.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards relevant to bioinformatics products. - Participate in professional forums and conferences to represent the company and gather insights on emerging bioinformatics technologies.

-Qualifications

- Must have a strong foundation in Bioinformatics with at least 8 years of relevant experience.

- Proficiency in OMICS data analysis is highly desirable.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts.

- Proven track record of contributing to successful product development projects in a bioinformatics context.

- Excellent analytical problem-solving and project management skills.

- Commitment to staying informed about the latest trends and technologies in bioinformatics and OMICS data analysis.

- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.

The annual salary for this position is between $[100-140K] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
