Roles/Responsibilities

• As a Sr. ServiceNow developer must have good knowledge in implementing the IT Service Management framework for Incident, Problem, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Service Request Management, Service Catalogs, Release Management, Performance Analytics, Human Resource Service Delivery and Facility Management.
• Perform day to day administration of the ServiceNow system, including making approved changes to process and workflows in ITSM and HR Service Management modules
• Ability to formulate plans and reports and analyze alternatives.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.

• Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) in developing and designing user experiences of applications
• Experience in performing enhancements in HRSD & Facility Management.
• Hands on experience in creating Users, roles and User Groups.
• Experience in migrating the changes across various environments in ServiceNow using Update-Sets
• Experience in loading the data into ServiceNow using import sets.
• Experience in configuring the Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Scheduled Jobs, UI Actions, SLAs in ServiceNow
• Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL best practices
• Experience in implementation of ServiceNow ITSM suite, HRSD, Facility Management
• Experience in integrating tools in ServiceNow and other similar tools using MidServer, web services, email.
• Ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions.
• Talent for creating client satisfaction; ability to focus on the client value in all work.

The annual salary for this position is between $84,000.00 - $104,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
