· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and develop scalable solutions.

· Design and implement complex data processing pipelines using PySpark and Spark in Scala.

· Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks to enhance system efficiencies.

· Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to manage large datasets efficiently.

· Leverage Snowflakes capabilities to build and maintain scalable data storage solutions.

· Deploy and manage applications and services on AWS ensuring high availability and performance.

· Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable and resilient data processing frameworks.

· Ensure code quality maintainability and best practices are adhered to in all development activities.

· Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies to improve the existing infrastructure and contribute to the teams knowledge sharing.

· Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback to peers to foster a positive development environment.

· -Qualifications

· Proven experience in Python PySpark SQL Spark in Scala Snowflake and AWS is required.

· Strong understanding of the Cards & Payments domain with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

· Experience in Structured Streaming OneLake Spark Job Definition Lakehouse Warehouse and Data Activator is highly desirable.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

· A commitment to continuous learning and development in the field of data engineering and analytics.

The annual salary for this position is between $[95k-110k] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
