Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ – Onsite

Responsibilities:

Supervise the development and implementation of high-quality software solutions within the Cards & Payments domain.

Design scalable and resilient system architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Use AWS cloud services to architect and deploy microservices-based applications.

Lead the integration of Spring Boot 3 applications, improving system performance and reliability.

Ensure the adoption of Java 17 standard methodologies, contributing to the evolution of our technology stack.

Build dynamic and adaptable web applications using React JS.

Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and resolve system architecture challenges.

Drive the solution design process, from feasibility through to delivery, ensuring technical and functional requirements are met.

Advocate for and implement best practices in solution architecture and system design.

Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions on AWS, microservices, and other key technologies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in Solution Architecture, particularly within AWS environments, is essential.

Strong background in Solution Design & Architecture and System Architecture Design.

Expertise in Spring Boot 3, Microservices, React 18 and Java 17 is mandatory.

Demonstrated experience in the Cards & Payments domain is required.

Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
