Lead Performance Test Engineer (Remote)Onsite Location: Las Vegas, NVQualifications
Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks using JMeter to streamline testing processes.
Provide expertise in monitoring and analyzing application performance using Splunk and AWS CloudWatch
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and ensure optimal application performance.
Utilize Appdynamics to monitor application health and proactively address issues before they impact users
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance and performance testing.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
Mentor and guide junior quality engineers, fostering a culture of quality and excellence.
Conduct regular reviews of test results and provide actionable insights to project stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and best practices.
Coordinate with property management domain experts to ensure domain-specific requirements are thoroughly tested.
Lead efforts to integrate new testing tools and technologies into the existing testing framework.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of testing progress and results to project managers and other stakeholders.
Work AuthorizationCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)
Salary And Other CompensationApplications will be accepted until 7/15/24The annual salary for this position is between $83,250/- to $132,000/- depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans

- Demonstrate experience in executing end to end performance engineering and testing for large distributed applications
- Possess strong experience with JMeter for performance testing and automation
- Show proficiency observability tools like AppDynamics, Cloud Watch, Splunk
- Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
