Job Title: SAS Tech lead (Onsite)

Work Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 9 to 12 years of experience to join our team as a Lead Architect - Technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Base SAS SAS Admin SAS Enterprise Guide SAS Grid Manager SAS Viya SQL and SQL Scripting. Additionally experience in the Cards and Payments domain is mandatory. This role will involve leading technical projects ensuring optimal performance and driving innovation within the company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Should have working experience in SAS suite of products (Base SAS SAS/Macros SAS/ETL SAS Grid SAS Viya)
• Should have worked on SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya- Strong experience working in SAS under multiple platforms & operating systems such as Mainframe Unix and Windows
• Experience on SAS platform migrations (from lower version to higher versions SAS 9.4 workloads migration to SAS Viya)
• Identify collect and analyze SAS Inventory operational statistics of SAS artifacts usage in production environments prioritization realization migration for any SAS migrations.
• Advanced working proficiency in Hadoop DB2 Netezza SQL Server Oracle
• Work with Enterprise Data Services Enterprise Architecture DevOps teams supporting various initiatives in SAS application.
• Lead the design and implementation of technical solutions using Base SAS SAS Admin SAS Enterprise Guide SAS Grid Manager and SAS Viya.
• Oversee the administration and maintenance of SAS environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize payment processing systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure efficient operation.
• Conduct regular system audits and security assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all implemented solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in Base SAS SAS Admin SAS Enterprise Guide SAS Grid Manager and SAS Viya.
• Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and SQL Scripting for database management and optimization.
• Show strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross
• functional teams and stakeholders.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
