Cognizant is seeking a Senior JAVA Full Stack Developer – with strong hands-on to join our team.

Role: Sr. Java Full Stack Developer / Lead Java Developer

Experience: 7 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

Having Java FSE experience 7 years.

Having Production support experience.

Having Incident Management experience.

Having Experience on managing production outage SWAT calls.

Having good communication skills and managing 20 team Onsite/Offshore

Having SRE mindset and knowledge on application stabilization planning.

Having Predict Analytics mind set and guide team to take zero production issues.

Knowledge on production support SLAs and tracking.

Managing clients and end users during crit-sit.

Having knowledge on monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace etc.

Having experience on working with SRE resources to set Alerts using monitoring tools

· Strong hands-on experience in Java Springboot Microservices Oracle.

· Actively contribute and participate in design and architecture discussions daily stand-ups and Agile Sprint planning sessions. ·

· Design and develop high-volume low-latency applications for critical systems delivering high-availability and performance.

· Write well designed testable efficient code and ensure that the designs comply with specifications.

· Knowledge and experience adhering to software development life cycle best practices unit testing subject area agile development and CI/CD strategies

· Should be able to optimize & effectively manage resources and time of the team members.

· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

· Should be able to identify track and mitigate risks to the product/application

· Excellent organization skills attention to detail and ability to multi – task

· Promotes continuous process improvement especially in code quality test ability & reliability.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
