Senior Mobile Developer

Cognizant is looking for an experienced, innovative Senior Mobile Developer to grow with our mobile development team! As a Senior Android developer, you will be involved from conception to launch creating highly engaging, technologically sound and aesthetically impressive mobile applications for users at scale. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative, geographically distributed team. We seek an expert engineer who values the “team”, drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the status quo with creative mobile solutions.

Candidates for this role should have experience working within a financial organization and display an understanding and appreciation for the complexities therein. Experience with digital platforms, distributed systems, and Cloud technologies is also critical.

Experience within a continuously changing environment that influences the banking experience for clients and employees, including driving consistent frameworks and methodologies to support consistency is critical for this role. Attention to detail and an ability to convey relevant information at summary and detailed levels is a key factor to success in this role. Requires experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies.

Work Authorization

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Experience with iOS/Android frameworks
• Knowledge on RESTful APIs to connect iOS/Android applications to back-end/integration services -
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards -
• Understanding of design principles and interface guidelines
• Understanding of code versioning tools (GitHub etc.) - Understanding of CI/CD knowledge

Qualifications

• Experience : 6 to 9yrs
• Salesforce CMS Channels Mobile Development
• Android Domain Skills : Life and Annuities Insurance
• Nice to have skills : Technical Skills : iOS Android - Native App iOS Architecture and Design

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422K – $151,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
