This German company operates in the renewable energy industry, primarily focusing on solar power projects. They handle everything from project development to maintenance, aiming to promote the use of clean energy solutions.

Role Overview:

In this role, you'll be a leader and a doer, driving the development, implementation, and oversight of the company's ESG policies. You'll collaborate with various teams to ensure the company's practices are not only environmentally and socially responsible but also meet the highest governance standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the entire ESRS reporting process, from conducting a materiality assessment to implementing data collection and reporting systems.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data collected for ESRS and EU Taxonomy reporting.
• Develop a comprehensive ESG reporting framework aligned with ESRS and EU Taxonomy requirements, fostering transparency and effective communication.
• Identify areas where current reporting can be improved and implement necessary changes, becoming the go-to person for operational teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to craft a clear and compelling ESG narrative that reflects the company strategy and goals.
• Translate technical ESG data into investor-friendly language, highlighting achievements and progress using measurable metrics.
• Stay up-to-date on evolving regulations, monitor investor feedback, and explore additional sustainability reporting initiatives.
• Build and implement a system for reporting on the corporate governance practices.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of ESG experience, preferably with a consulting background.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking a hands-on approach.
• Possesses excellent communication skills to translate complex data and liaise effectively with stakeholders.
• Has strong analytical skills to assess data and identify trends.
• Is a problem-solver at heart, passionate about the future of consumption, and excited to make a difference.
• Has excellent English skills; German is a plus.
