COGS has partnered with a rapidly growing, multi Billion dollar Chemical Manufacturing Company servicing multiple global industries. Due to increased market demand, they are in growth mode and expanding! This has led to increased opportunities for career trajectory and hence they are looking for an IT Commodity Leader to take ownership for the procurement of essential resources important for the operations of the IT Department and wider organization. This role is ideal for a highly strategic Procurement Professional, perhaps looking for the next step in their career.

The salary for this position is up to 130K based hybrid in Philadelphia, PA.

Due to the streamlined nature of the procurement function, this position will report directly to the VP. In this role, you would be supporting the entire IT function of the business. This will provide ample opportunity to learn developed sourcing strategies from highly experienced industry professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Collect business needs and identify potential vendors.
• Create and circulate RFPs/RFQs, gather bids, and pertinent information.
• Assess proposals/quotes, considering quality, cost, and other factors, and suggest suppliers aligned with organizational needs.
• Collaborate with Legal and selected suppliers to formulate agreeable contracts.
• Scrutinize price proposals, financial documents, and related data to gauge price fairness.
• Ensure comprehension and transmission of internal stakeholder requirements to suppliers, collaborating with suppliers to resolve any order complications.

Qualifications:

• 5 Years Indirect Procurement experience (IT, Services etc)
• Experience negotiating IT and Services contracts
• Strong Strategic Experience
• Strong stakeholder management & influencing skills
• Experience with industry-leading supply chain processes
