COGS are assisting a multi million dollar, construction company providing mechanical (HVAC and Plumbing) solutions to commercial and residential industry as they seek to bring on a driven and ambitious Project Manager to oversees their mechanical piping projects.
Due to the increased market demand for their services in several states, they are in growth and expansion mode, as a result they are looking for a candidate with high potential skills who is looking for a fast-track career trajectory.
The salary for this role is up to 120K based on-site in Sioux Falls, SD
Job Summary
The Project Manager in Mechanical Piping is crucial in planning, executing, and successfully completing mechanical piping projects. This role leverages expertise in mechanical engineering, project management, bid estimating, and scheduling.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing project coordination, acquiring permits, managing budgets, personnel, and contracts, and ensuring thorough compliance with project documentation.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential for coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining strong relationships with clients, coworkers, contractors, and the public.
- Provides valuable feedback to senior management and conducts regular site visits to ensure project progress and adherence to quality standards. Performs any additional duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in interpreting project documents, blueprints, and schematics and have a thorough understanding of local and state plumbing codes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in estimating, project cost development, or project management within the Mechanical Piping or Plumbing field.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management (Preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be advantageous.
