POSITION SUMMARY
Counsel with emphasis on prevention. Work with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental health. May help individuals deal with addictions and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; suicide; stress management; problems with self-esteem; and issues associated with aging, mental, and emotional health.
POSITION SUMMARY EXPANDED:
Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act,(“The Unity Bill”) this position is considered a “Safety-sensitive position. “Safety-sensitive” is defined to include “any job that includes tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others.” Employees working in “safety-sensitive” roles are subject to this exception and subject to disciplinary action in the event of a positive test for marijuana or its metabolites.
Requirements:POSITION SUPERVISORY SUMMARY:
Supervises Senior Strong Program- ensures that program is maintaining patient numbers that are consistent with the requirements set forth for the program. Additionally, supervises staff that are within the program, and is responsible for completion of evaluations, and counseling’s that could lead to termination.
