We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant General Manager to support our General Manager in overseeing all business operations, staff supervision, membership growth, and achieving financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure exceptional member satisfaction and reduce attrition by forecasting needs, controlling costs, and managing labor effectively
• Support all departments in achieving their goals, filling in for any position as needed
• Model and uphold company policies and service standards
• Conduct daily inspections of facilities/equipment to maintain professional and safety standards
• Monitor business forecasts and facility usage to ensure proper staffing, productivity, and cost controls
• Conduct department meetings and attend other meetings/events as required
• Ability to work set office hours plus additional nights/weekends as needed, frequently over 40 hours per week

Additional Responsibilities:

• Conduct yourself professionally at all times
• Maintain a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions
• Foster good working relationships across departments
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

Supervisory Role:

• Directly supervise 5-15 employees in the Service Desk Department
• Provide supervision support to other departments as directed by General Manager
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning work, performance management, coaching, disciplining staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of related experience
• Strong communication and public speaking abilities
• Math skills for calculations like discounts, percentages, geometry
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Computer skills including CRM, spreadsheets, word processing
• CPR certification, food handler's permit, OLCC permit
