We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and lead the seamless operations of our dynamic hotel. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maximizing efficiency, and driving profitability across all departments.

Essential Functions:

• Provide guidance, leadership, and direction to department managers and staff, assisting their activities to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Monitor all hotel operations and systems to ensure proper procedures are in place and followed for efficient and profitable operations.
• Assist in the coordination of marketing initiatives, sales site visits, and special requests to ensure alignment with operational strategies.
• Ensure adherence to operational policies, standards, and procedures, and promptly resolve any issues or non-compliance.
• Facilitate the effective resolution of any operational challenges or complaints.
• Oversee housekeeping procedures, including inspecting guest rooms and public areas, and promptly resolving any operational issues.
• Delegate authority and assign responsibilities to department managers.
• Conduct performance evaluations for department managers and key personnel.
• Support managers in implementing operational procedures, setting standards, goal-setting, and the execution of daily duties.
• Assist in budget planning and approval authority for all departments.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to align marketing, sales, revenue management, and operational strategies to enhance profitability and overall efficiency.
• Allocate resources and authorize expenditures as required.
• Participate in appropriate industry-related organizations and networking events.

Qualifications:

• Five years of operational management experience in the hospitality or service industry, preferably in a hotel or resort setting; college degree is a plus.
• Working knowledge of operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and interpretation of operational metrics.
• Possession of government-required licenses or certificates.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under time constraints and perform well under pressure.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Self-motivated and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times.
