Cold Stone Creamery in Crown Point and Valparaiso is a small family owned business. We are co-branded for Cold Stone and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Our goal is to provide the ultimate ice cream experience for individuals to come enjoy in a safe family friendly environment. The role of General Manager is to run the day to day operations of both stores up to and including: making ice cream and ice cream novelties (cakes, cupcakes, etc.), train and supervise staff, work with customers and customer service, handle inventory, make bank deposits, and other general management responsibilities. We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills, has the ability to muli-task, works well in a team environment and someone who can be professional, agile and creative. Someone can handle the responsibilities of running the day to day operations of 2 ice cream shops.

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and possess strong leadership skills to drive success in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff, inventory, and customer service

- Ensure high-quality food and service standards are consistently met

- Train, supervise, and schedule employees to maintain efficient operations

- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records

- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process

- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in culinary or hospitality management

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction

- Knowledge of kitchen management, food handling, and cash handling procedures

- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively

- Experience in interviewing and training staff members

- Understanding of food service management principles

- Excellent supervisory skills to maintain a positive work environment
