Collabera is Hiring a Systems Engineer Near Redmond, WA
Duration: 11 months
Location: Redmond, WA, 100% onsite
Pay Range: $65/hr - $68/hr
Key job responsibilities:
- Design, set up and maintain test fixtures to verify software on real hardware
- Utilize software and scripts for operations to keep things running and highly available
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems with pre-production equipment
- Contribute to engineering efforts from design to implementation, solving complex technical challenges around developer and engineering productivity and velocity especially as it relates to rapid test iteration
- Design and build advanced automated build, test and release infrastructure
- Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of non-internship professional software development or IT experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C , C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, RubyBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field.
- 2 years of experience in any of the following: test lab support, operational hardware support
- 2 years of experience with test automation, debugging, building test tools and testing frameworks
- 2 years of experience working with Linux based systems
- 2 years of experience in computer networking (admin level)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly autonomous, very detail oriented, and willing to learn new skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to interact efficiently with peers and customers is required
- The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization
