Summer and Fall Program Teachers Needed - Vocational- Horticulture and Science Focus/ Grades 7-12 West Region: Locations in Westfield, Springfield area, ChicopeeSeeking experienced and aspiring teachers for our Summer School enrichment program serving court involved youth (DYS). Classes and programs are small, typically 10-12 students in a program and 5 students in a class, allowing for truly personalized and creative instruction in an alternative educational setting supported by behavioral staff in the classroom. Summer School Schedule: Dates: July 8th and ends August 15th M-Th. Typical Hours: 8:15-2:15 (6 hours onsite, with up to one additional hour of paid off site planning time) Students typically attend: 8:30-2:00 (start time/end time may varySummer pay is $31.20 per hourFull time (Fall and beyond) pay is $52,693 to 74,629 depending on experience and licenseQualifications: Teaching License is preferred, but not required Experience working with youth in an educational or therapeutic settingWe believe everyone is a learner, and offer competitive pay for educators who value social justice and equity, compassion, patience, and flexibility.
