Collaborative Support Programs is Hiring a Team Leader | Mental Health Near Eatontown, NJ

Description

CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency, is looking for a full-time Team Leader based in Eatontown, NJ. The Team Leader will work as part of a team to provide services to individuals living and recovering from mental health or substance use challenges and living independently. Team Leader is responsible to provide services that meet the provision of supportive services to persons served and assigned to their team and is consistent with the agencies mission, vision, values, psychiatric rehabilitation principles and the concept of recovery. The Team Leader is accountable to provide daily structure and supervision to the Supportive Services Staff assigned to their team. The ideal person will be well-rounded with a strong understanding of rehabilitation services in a residential setting and leadership skills to recruit, develop and motive the team. This role will utilize assessment and treatment skills. Provide comprehensive case management. Collaborate with collateral care providers. Advocate and deliver psycho educational groups. Provide individual supportive counseling (and family intervention as indicated), crisis assessment, intervention, and discharge planning.

Full-time | 40 hours p/w: 8am - 4:30pm | Benefit Eligible including 6 weeks PTO & 11 Holidays

Hourly Rate: $26.44 - $28.85 depending on credentials and experience

Requirements

  • A Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related discipline.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.
  • Proven and effective strong leadership and management skills.
  • Supervisory experience is strongly desired.
  • Excellent supervisory, planning, organization, problem-solving, decision making and inter-personal and leadership skills
  • Ability to conduct individual and group educational training to a wide range of learning levels
  • Strong assessment skills
  • Organizational ability necessary to consistently meet commitments as directed by Supervisor
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage crises
  • Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner
  • Ability and willingness to work side by side with service recipient to model household cleaning and other daily living tasks.
  • Lived experience using mental health or addiction services.
