College Connect is a community based program seeking individuals who have a passion for education and mentorship for students with developmental disabilities and learning differences. Our team is a multidisciplinary group of educators, psychologist, and young professionals who are committed to enhancing the lives of the students and families we serve. Adult students with developmental disabilities are underrepresented in both educational and employment settings and our goal is to mentor and coach these students to support their goals and provide resources to facilitate their success.
Support young adult students who are enrolled in college. Guide students by helping remove barriers to achievement by navigating college campus and resources. Teach and mentor communication skills and problem solving to enhance student experience and facilitate learning. Support students with identifying on campus resources and facilitate greater equity for underrepresented young adults seeking education.
Community Support Specialist (Campus Lead) __________________________________________________________________
The Campus Lead works within the community and is responsible for supporting the daily functioning of their assigned campuses and students served. The Campus Lead is tasked with the following core responsibilities:
● Participate in weekly supervision provided to Student Coaches
o Audit for accuracy of verification forms, parent contact, accuracy of NPA submissions, observation of sessions, etc.
● Submit daily communication log, student, and staff attendance to Regional Manager.
● Prepare and audit campus billing notes
● Maintain a limited case load.
● Participate with student event planning.
● Participate in curriculum planning.
● Participate in staff disciplinary plans and evaluations.
● Complete termination reports for exiting students.
● Assist in the review and submission of progress reports to Regional Manager.

● Maintain confidentiality in accordance with agency policy.
● Be honest, reliable, and dependable.
● Respect and maintain the rights and privacy of all staff, parents and students served.
● Attend mandated trainings and meetings.
● Work as a team member with all staff and maintain a positive work ethic.
● Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and ethical standards.
● Act conscientiously in performing routine duties.
