COLLEGE OF THE HOLY CROSS is Hiring an Assistant Director of Athletics Development Near Worcester, MA

Description
The Assistant Director of Athletics Development is a new position as a digital gift officer responsible for assisting with the implementation of the athletics annual giving strategy to support the College's 27 varsity sports.
The Assistant Director of Athletics Development in collaboration with the Associate Director of Athletics Development and the annual giving team, is responsible for supporting initiatives that drive athletics annual giving. The Assistant Director of Athletics Development must work closely with Annual and Parent Giving and key partners in the athletics department, including athletics administration and head coaches, to meet annual athletics fundraising goals and achieve retention, reactivation and acquisition goals by using targeted, highly segmented, individual outreach to drive digital engagement.
  • Actively engage digitally with and solicit a portfolio of 300 athletics leadership annual giving prospects to foster meaningful experiences through personalized digital communications and one-on-one interactions to increase alumni engagement and philanthropic support
  • Leverage technology and help maintain digital platforms for sharing impact stories and stewarding current donors based on donor interests.
  • Oversee strategy and execution of fundraising and alumni student-athlete engagement events with a goal to convert alumni engagement and event attendees to donors
  • Coordinate quarterly head coach communications, CAF communications and biweekly stewardship for Director of Athletics and head coaches
  • Proactively monitor donor engagement and digital behaviors to identify and launch initiatives and customized outreach strategies to achieve retention, reactivation and acquisition goals
  • Partner with Associate Director for Annual Giving Communications and the Associate Director for Athletics Development to implement a comprehensive calendar and plan for communications for and solicitations of specific segments, including giving days.
  • Partner with the annual giving team on student-athlete and reunion participation efforts
  • Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual updates to show progress of outreach and solicitations and engagement activities
Reporting Line:
  • Reporting to Director of Athletics Development/Associate Athletics Director, Development
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least one year of post-college experience, preferably in a development setting or equivalent.
  • Ability to work as an integral member of the advancement team, with a focus on athletics fundraising priorities.
