• Responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of the successful operation of the bookstore on-line merchandise catalog which includes:
• Coordination of day to day activity of on-line sales to ensure that all current orders and returns are processed in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot any order or purchase problem.
• Preparation, photography and upload of all merchandise images appearing on website which involves both maintaining a working knowledge of digital photography and possessing the ability to take high quality photographs. Must have knowledge of
• Photoshop Software to ensure the photos available are compatible with the website software.
• Creation of all items appearing on the website which includes writing detailed descriptions to be posted.
• Set up appropriate catalogs and classes for items so that customers can easily navigate the webpage and find any item they may want in a timely fashion.
• Posting all merchandise items to the webpage in a timely manner.
• Maintenance of all items appearing on the web page which include timely updates to stock quantities so that all web items reflect real time inventory. Regularly move items to different areas of the webpage to keep merchandise and navigability of the web page. Coordinate activity with the Merchandise Specialist in relaying stock shortages. Work with social media specialists on promotions.Coordination with the website provider on site modernizations.
• Opening and closing of the physical store on rotating Saturdays and other occasions.
• Staffing of the sales floor when necessary.
• Management of the storage room and keeping the sales floor stocked.
