COLLEGE OF THE HOLY CROSS is Hiring a Seasonal Application Reader Near Worcester, MA
Job Summary
The Office of Admissions is looking for a seasonal application reader to work 20-25 hours per week with flexible hours. This is a fully remote position after completing an in-person training on campus, which will last for approximately 4 hours in late September or early October. The position is from October 1st to February 1st, with the potential for limited hours through March 1st.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Review and summarize applicant materials and provide detailed notes for
undergraduate applicant files. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Resident of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Access to a remote work environment conducive to application reading and reliable,
- high-speed internet
- Experience in College Admission or School Counseling preferred
- Experience with Slate a plus
- Candidate may not be currently employed in a College or high school setting or be the
- immediate relative of a current Holy Cross student

- Strong reading, writing, and assessment skills with an emphasis on attention to detail
- Awareness of personal bias and sensitivity to a diverse pool of applicants
- Ability to read a large volume of applications with efficiency and accuracy
- Self-direction and time management
