Provide easement and/or land acquisition on assigned projects
Have general understanding of SC real estate law and appraisal principle
Be knowledgeable of all required regulations (federal, state, local, etc.)
Prepare offer packages in accordance with SCDOT or local government standards
Present and negotiate offers to impacted property owners while establishing a positive rapport with each tract owner
Prepare tract settlement packages once agreement is approved and assist in closing tracts when neededQualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of Right of Way Acquisition experience preferred
SCDOT experience preferred
Active SC Real Estate License a must
SC Notary
Must have utilized the Uniform Act guidelines previously on a project
Ability to read and interpret project plans
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Should be comfortable interacting with diverse groups of people.
Able to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, as well as balance multiple projects by prioritizing effectively
Demonstrated organizational, planning, and negotiation skills
Can work independently
Analytical and able to problem solve
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook, and databases such as SharePoint or equivalent
English language proficient
Valid Drivers License

Must possess team player attitude and ensure all projects are completed by let schedule
Responsible for providing weekly updates to management
May require weekend hours
Be able to think out of the box when confronted with challenging situations or conversations
