Collington is Hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (7:00am - 3:30pm) Full-Time Near Bowie, MD
- Charts patient progress and provides updates on patient status to supervisory medical professionals and doctors; monitors resident's condition including fluid intake and output
- Administers injections, prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
- Records resident histories; keeps physician and families aware of changes in resident's condition; assesses and coordinates resident's discharge planning needs with members of healthcare team;
- Protects residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication;
- May supervise the work of geriatric nursing assistants (GNA);
7. Adheres to state and federal mandated standards and procedures.
