Join our innovative team as a Metal Etcher and play a critical role in the production of high-quality aircraft parts. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our metal elements meet the exacting standards required for aviation.

What You Will Do:

• Precision Preparation: Skillfully prepare metal sheets and wires using advanced etching equipment, laying the foundation for excellence in aircraft parts.
• Quality Assurance: Diligently monitor the element printing process, ensuring each component meets our stringent quality benchmarks.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively address and correct any issues, reworking parts to maintain the highest standards of production.
• Design Execution: Follow manufacturing instructions and specifications to determine the designs to be etched or cut into materials.
• Material Preparation: Prepare etching material using various tools and chemicals, ensuring readiness for the etching process.
• Safety Protocols: Wear appropriate PPE during specific metal etching processes to ensure personal safety and compliance with safety standards.
• Inspection: Continuously inspect materials throughout the etching process to ensure a quality product is being created.
• Workpiece Handling: Move etched workpieces to their designated places for further inspection.
• Maintenance: Perform weekly preventative maintenance on metal etching machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Documentation: Complete all documents accurately in the computerized tracking system.
• Performance Metrics: Drive plant performance through safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
• Work Area Management: Keep the work area clean and organized to facilitate process flow improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Additional Duties: Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications We Require:

• A minimum education requirement of High School Diploma or GED is required
• Have experience reading blueprints and specification sheets
• Must be able to properly document materials used and understand the importance of material traceability
• Must be willing to be trained to wear a respirator and work with chemicals
• Perform work in a safe manner and completes all required safety trainings
• Must have the ability to work any shifts and overtime including weekends
