Join our cutting-edge team as a Process Technician and play a vital role in producing top-tier products. Your precision and dedication will ensure our continued success. In this role, you will:
What you will do:
  • Preparation and Setup: Expertly prep, set up, and tear down casting tubes and tooling, ensuring each component is ready for the production process.
  • Data Logging: Accurately log process parameters on work orders and data sheets to maintain detailed records.
  • Precision Measurements: Use standard measuring instruments and balances to make precise measurements critical for quality production.
  • Remote Monitoring: Utilize remote monitoring software to perform basic calculations and accurately document processes.
  • Problem Detection: Recognize issues with process equipment and promptly notify the chain of command when tolerance limits are approached to prevent defects.
  • Safety Communication: Communicate potential mechanical or safety issues clearly and effectively.
  • Hazardous Material Handling: Handle large quantities of hazardous chemicals and materials, including energetics, with utmost care and precaution.
  • Adherence to Procedures: Follow written procedures strictly to ensure safety and maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage large quantities of chemicals efficiently and accurately.
  • Technical Proficiency: Read drawings and operate according to manufacturing procedures, adhering to customer and company specifications, including international standards.
  • Documentation: Document the processes used to create and finish parts meticulously.
  • Computer Skills: Apply basic to intermediate computer skills as required for the role.
Qualifications we require:
  • Typically requires a HS diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

  • Prior manufacturinf experience.
