Collins Community Credit Union is Hiring an Assistant Branch Manager Near CEDAR RAPIDS, IA

Collins Community Credit Union, a growing organization, is currently hiring for an Assistant Branch Manager at our Wiley branch. This person will be a competitive, independent “doer" who can problem solve and get things done. In this role, you will promote and provide credit union products and services to new and existing members with referrals to appropriate departments when necessary. This position is responsible for coaching and interacting with the team on a day-to-day basis, as well as playing a huge part in the branches success and training!

To be successful at Collins Community Credit Union you’ll need to have excellent communication skills, the ability to thrive in a fun, fast-faced workplace, the drive to succeed, and the motivation to launch yourself to the next level.

Qualified candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills, be detail oriented and reliable, be able to multi-task, and have a positive attitude! Although we'd love to see prior financial experience, it's not a deal breaker for us!

Must be available to work during business hours:

  • Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00 pm
  • Friday 8:30am - 5:30 pm
  • Saturday 9:00am - 12:00 pm (rotating)

Assistant Branch Manager Expectations:

  • Lead by example to exemplify CCCU behaviors and service standards.
  • Appropriately evaluate and document employee performance, conduct transactional coaching, and participate in weekly one on one coaching sessions with each employee to assist in their personal and professional development and growth within the credit union.
  • Establish and periodically review with Branch Manager staffing scheduling to ensure employees are staffed appropriately during peak and slow times and to eliminate overtime.
  • Responsible for reviewing, approving, denying and correcting employee punches and PTO requests through Paylocity in a timely and efficient manner. All Paylocity modifications must be in compliance with all applicable state and federal labor laws.
  • Assist with staffing needs as they arise or as assigned by Regional Management.
  • Ability to assist in each branch position to aid with effective and efficient scheduling.
