Colonial Behavioral Health is Hiring a Team Lead- Residential Near Williamsburg, VA
Job Responsibilities
- Plans, implements, and updates individualized service plans (ISP) utilizing a person-centered approach that is focused on independent living and community inclusion and participation.
- Assists individuals by providing support, general supervision, and training for skills development in a variety of settings to include individual’s homes and community-based settings
- Serve as a lead to Community Services Associate II and to the Community Services Associate I position in the general day to day operation of the group home.
- Other duties as assigned.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. & Thursday 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. (with flexibility as needed)
- Must have the ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Possess the ability to develop an individual services plan that is person centered and reflects the goals and choices of the individual in regard to the services they want to receive from the program.
- Possess knowledge of person centered principles, practices and techniques related to services provision for adults with developmental disabilities.
- Work experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in a human service field or equivalent education and experience to demonstrate proficiency in position preferred .
- Valid driver’s license is required.
