The Accounting Associate II will report to the enmarket Controller and will be primarily responsible for offering accounting support for 50 convenient stores. This position requires a well-organized individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The Accounting Associate needs to be proficient with computers to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Candidates should be dependable, self-directed, detail oriented, and able to work well with others. Strong communication skills are a must.
JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES

• Audit daily paperwork for 50 convenience stores to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Work closely with general managers and district managers to provide assistance regarding accounting/paperwork issues or questions.
• Correspond with credit card processors related to chargeback notices.
• Assist with customer service calls related to credit card inquiries.
• Process transactions for Enmarket’s Business Advantage customers, and all other credit card related issues.
• Work closely with accountants, A/P associates, and operations to resolve questions/issues related to assigned stores.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of convenience store industry a plus.
• Retail oriented, professional attitude, reliable, works well with others, fast learner.
• Strong verbal, written and business communication skills.
• Basic accounting knowledge preferred, documentation skills, research and resolution skills.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
