Job Summary:
Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company is seeking dedicated Benefit Counselors to join our team in the Wisconsin area. As a Benefit Counselor, you will play a crucial role in educating and empowering employees to make informed decisions about their benefits. You will promote Colonial Life's product portfolio, develop relationships with businesses, and communicate employer-sponsored benefits during open enrollment.
Duties:
- Promote Colonial Life's product portfolio through educational initiatives to various businesses.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of Colonial Life's group and individual voluntary products and services to effectively present them to employees.
- Collaborate with district representatives as part of a cohesive team.
- Communicate employer-sponsored benefits during open enrollment periods.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong ability to influence and persuade individuals.
- Proficient in oral and written communication.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly motivated self-starter who excels in fast-paced environments.

- Proficiency in health insurance concepts is essential.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications like Excel.
- Life and health insurance license required (can be obtained through Colonial Life).
