Responsibilities:

• Cultivate relationships with meeting planners and decision-makers across various channels (phone, email, in-person visits).
• Develop strategic account management plans to target and secure high-value partnerships.
• Craft compelling sales proposals that secure profitable contracts for the hotel.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to position the hotel for success.
• Close deals that align with market conditions and property needs.
• Manage a sales coordinator and contribute to the Director of Sales' annual sales plan.
• Champion Colonial Williamsburg Hotels & CWF at industry events and trade shows.
• Stay current on industry trends through ongoing professional development and participation in relevant associations.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and achieve sales goals.
• In-depth knowledge of conference sales and hotel operations (preferred).
• College degree or minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience (a plus if combined with other hotel operations experience).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and work flexible hours.
• Experience in a four-star/diamond hotel and knowledge of assigned geographic locations or vertical markets (a plus).
