Project Administrator

ColonialWebb is seeking a high-energy, friendly, and organized Project Administrator to join our Industrial Refrigeration, PSM team! This position is essential to keeping our business moving forward on all cylinders and culture fit is critical. In this role, the individual needs to be tech savvy, possess strong communication skills, and a team player that will contribute day one. This is a hybrid position, with a few days in person, in our Chesapeake office.

A day in the life:

  • Complete project and change order set ups
  • Create and send invoices for projects in multiple departments
  • Assist with travel and meeting coordination and organization
  • Document and process job close out
  • Handle new customer paperwork
  • Upload and index documents into electronic document systems
  • Enter and retrieve data from our operating system
  • Assemble reports and enter online data as needed
  • Other administrative tasks as requested

You should have:

  • Possess current or previous experience in the Construction or Building Service industry providing administrative support (preferred, but not required)
  • Possess high school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and PDF editing software
  • Ability to coordinate and perform multiple tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate strong proofreading, editing, and writing skills
  • Demonstrate professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Possess excellent administrative, organization and follow-up skills
