Loan Operations Specialist - Upload
Purpose:
This position provides administrative and operations support as needed in accordance with established systems and procedures. Assists in booking and reviewing loans to the core system using various interfaces and/or manual processes. Also, assists with problem resolution as needed.
Location: Augusta
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Assist with booking and funding of loans to the core operating system utilizing various interfaces and/or manual processes.
- Adhere to set Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for loan uploading and communication.
- Communicate effectively with lenders and/or loan administrators regarding loans being booked.
- Identify errors or inconsistencies in loan data and take appropriate corrective action.
- Manages and updates a spreadsheet for tracking purposes.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss processing improvements and best practices.
- Complies with all bank and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complete periodic training provided and/or required by Colony within required time frames assigned.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in loan documentation and/or operations preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
- Must present a professional image.
- Ability to coordinate a high level of activities in a variety of conditions.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle information of confidential nature.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and tight schedules.
- Ability to use various office equipment including; computer, basic e-mail, and a variety of software.
- A high degree of interpersonal skills, attitude, and judgment.
