Atlantic Tire Distributors located in Edenton, NC, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Manager Assistant to join our team! Job Summary: The Credit Manager Assistant will work closely with the Credit Manager to manage credit risk, evaluate credit applications, and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong analytical skills, excels in communication, and takes a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Credit Manager in reviewing and processing credit applications.
• Analyze financial statements and credit reports to determine creditworthiness.
• Monitor outstanding balances and ensure timely follow-ups on overdue payments.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of credit decisions and financial transactions.
• Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to resolve billing and credit-related issues.
• Support the preparation of monthly credit risk reports and presentations.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding credit management.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in credit, finance, or accounting roles (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency is MS Office, especially Excel; experience with credit management software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
