Description Of JobThe Vehicle Services section ensures compliance with the laws that govern the vehicle titling and registration processes. This program provides guidance and training to the state’s authorized agents, the public, and other entities involved in the title and registration process.
The Administrative Services Unit is now hiring an EVTR Business Analyst , which is expected to perform section wide studies of current business practices, processes and procedures to improve program efficiency. The position will involve working closely with EVTR vendors and other Analyst IVs, serving as a backup regarding SQRs (structured query reports). Additionally, this position will act as a Staff Authority in the area of the EVTR Vehicle Services DRIVES requirements development and be the Vehicle Services Section subject matter expert for EVTR transactions.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Review Colorado Revised Statues and legislative proposals
  • Conduct program regression testing and performing analysis
  • Draft proposals and recommendations (legislative piece, developing testing scenarios)
  • Assist management with the implementation of changes to existing practices and processes
  • Assess problems, make recommendations, and generate the IT project request and work directly with IT staff to achieve the requested outcome
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for requirements and refinements to report back to EVTR Production Manager
This position is a hybrid position that is primarily a teleworking position. The hired candidate will be responsible to provide and maintain a home office or other suitable remote work location as well as internet and a secure wi-fi connection. This position may be required, based on business needs, to report to the Lakewood office.

Minimum QualificationsExperience Only:Seven (7) years of relevant experience in product development, program/system maintenance, and/or technical writing
OREducation And ExperienceA combination of related education and/or relevant experience in product development, program/system maintenance, and/or technical writing equal to seven (7) years

Preferred QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
  • Proven history of program/project management
  • Prior experience building relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience troubleshooting for outside stakeholders
  • Prior experience in electronic vehicle titling & registration
  • Prior Software Development experience
  • DRIVES or GenTax experience
  • Prior experience in system maintenance in a regulatory environment
